Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I, as most people moved here for the yard and my big dog. I have lived here for a year and a half and am still waiting for things to be fixed that I asked for at the signing of the lease. They also attempted to fill out the initial walk though papers for me and just wanted me to sign off that all carpet and tile were new. If this carpet was new they had to have gotten it from a scrapyard. There are ink stains on it and it is not tacked down at the edges, therefore unravelling. The new tile and microwave have paint all over them. I had to scrub this place from top to bottom when I moved in. I only saw the model apartment before I moved in because mine was being worked on. I saw mine for the first time the day I moved in. They painted over all the dirt and hair. My new trim in the kitchen is all scratched and rotted at the bottom,(hmmm). Bathtub was painted instead of cleaned, which is now pealing. My AC freezes up about once every two weeks. My bathtub leeks all over the floor from the base. They're solution is to shut the shower curtain. Duh, why didnt I think of that. But it has nothing to do with the leek. Backyard is weeds and sand, my backporch floods when it rains. No gutters. Washing machine drains into the yard. Elecrical makes me nervous. My electric bill is as much as my sister, who lives in a two story house, because there is no insulation around the windows and doors. I can see through a crack in my front door. Three of the seven windows have make-shift locks on them. Was promised new locks on the doors, changed those myself. Ammenities include one weed covered tennis court, which you have to go behind the dupmster to get to. Two very aged pools. The dog and car wash they advertise has been out of commision since before I moved here. The mangement and good part of the staff are all related to the owners. All white trash. Quite rude and unaccomadating. I here they also own the water company for the property, who charges me for sewer when I am on septic. The one good review on this list I can only guess is an employee or related to one. I have not spoken to a neighbor yet who finds the management the least bit friendly or helpful. I could go on, but you probably get the idea. Please look elsewhere if you want to live in a well maintained complex. If I could rate this place any lower than one I would.
