Very disappointed

My husband and I have been looking into this place since I was pregnant in April, we paid 3 months worth to get caught up and moved in.
I am so disappointed.
They were so nice until I got in here.
My unit smells like smoke and animals badly.
We moved here for the dog and yard (which is all sand and weeds) but it's so not worth it.
I now have a 4 month old son with breathing problems and worry about the "smell" in my home.
Also, after a few weeks of movement on our carpets these big HUGE black stains emerged (not from us) and we were not sure what the heck they were, I had to literally yell at them to come down to look at them and threaten to call the Property Owners.
they came right down after that and are replacing my carpet, why couldn't they have done that BEFORE I moved in.
Next week people from and Enviroenmental Comapnay is coming to look at each and every unit.
WHY' I have never been at an apartment complex before who has had that done, but after reading some of these posts I suspect mold.
This place sooooooooo sucks and I feel so bad as a new mother at the choice I made as to where to live with my baby.
I can't wait to move out.
Oh yeah, and the windows are old and bad, I was sitting on the couch with my baby laying on the couch by me and the pane just popped out, if my husband wasn't there to catch it glass would have shattered on my baby.
What the hell...
that so mad me mad! And anything they did prior to fixing this place was just thrown together in a very poor manor.
