This place sucks.. Horrible managment.. very rude, everything is old and painted over.. tub, sink things of that nature. I'm no painter by any means but can do alot better work... it is obvious in my apartment of atleast 7 holes that have been patched with plaster and not even sanded.. just patched.. it looks like garbage.. oh yeah.. speaking of garbage.. it is not uncommon to go to the 1 dumpster (if there are 2 i havent found the other) anyway.. not uncommon to go to the dumpster and see a large pile of trash.. some due to complex not cleaning it up, but a big majority of it are residents that are simply too lazy to walk the 20 feet to put their garbage in the dumpster.. instead most just pile it up and let someone else deal with it. Ah yes.. I keep getting these rude letters on my door about my water bill not being paid, but kind of odd since i havent seen one since i move in.. then im hit with almost $300 and told if i dont pay im going to be evicted in 7 days.. this is after telling them several times we have not been getting bills.. of course the manager doesnt seem to have a problem getting her's... Lets see what else... the trim around the roof and the wood under the shingles is.. well.. rotten.. the wall that divides our laundry room from the other apartment is rotten .. there is standing water.. they told us it was from our neighbor, then told our neighbor it was from us... they refused to trim the trees in our back yard which were causing our power to go out on occasion.. only when a line broke, and was on the ground did they have the trees trimmed.. and even then blamed it on the power company who had already told us any trees on their property were the responsibility of the owner.. If they will argue with the power company about who's job it is to cut limbs.. imagine what they will try to screw you out of.. OH! not to mention.. most of our neighbors around us pay on average $200 less / month than us when we moved in.. and now our rent has gone even higher.. while theirs has remained fixed.. at around $700 and change.. we are paying almost $1000 a month and definately not worth it. Oh man I just keep going.. the kitchen window is put in upside down so it wont open.. we had to duct tape our screens on the windows so the cat wouldn't get out.. and. very VERY thin windows.. it is no exaggeration to say you can hear conversations inside of peoples homes from the street. These places were probably nice 40 years ago when they were built.. it would appear that everything is original and just painted over though.. I doubt they would change the carpet if it wasnt a law. Oh one more thing.. management is only friendly if you are moving in or bringing money. In one instance the manager was a total and complete b*tch to me, and after writing a check for an obviously flawed water bill.. tried to act like my best friend. I won't tell you where to live, but if you live here.. dont say you weren't warned. (oh, it would seem a majority of the positive reviews really spoke highly of the staff and even by name.. upon further reading it would appear the same person wrote several of them.. just a hunch but im thinking it could be the staff themselves making a futile attempt to raise ratings.

i lived at wildwood for over 9 years and loved it. why do you people move into a older complex and expect everything to be brand new?i went through many bad storms and hurricanes and felt very safe here with my 3 dachshunds. also if i had any problems the office staff was more then willing to help me in anyway they can.you must be a dead beat and as far as the dumpsters your right there as most of the people send there small kids up there to throw away trash and they can't reach the door so guess what trash all over due to the lazy residents. i have seen a employee up there at least 3 times a day and on week ends to clean up the mess. MY RESPONSE TO ALL THAT READ THIS IS TO CHECK OUT WILDWOOD ACRES FOR YOURSELF,AS A LONG TIME RESIDENT HERE I WOULD LIVE NO WHERE ELSE AS I FEEL VERY SAFE HERE AND MAINTENANCE HAS ALWAYS TAKEN CARE OF ANY PROBLEMS I HAVE HAD IN THE PAST IN A TIMELY MANNER.
