This place is called Grand Pavilion Condo/Apartments. The current owner planned to turned the apartments into condo but then the housing bubble burst and recession happened. So I guess they sold a few condos but still rent out the majority of the place.

Before living here, I used to lived at Collegiate Hall. I saved about 150 dollars more each month but I had horrible roommates (dirty) and noisy neighbors. I don't recommend doing that unless you need an apartment at the really cheap prices.

Pros:
First thing I enjoy here is that there are plenty of big spacious parking spaces and I really take joy in my car (damn those dings from Collegiate Hall). Second it's a lot quieter then my last apartment, I can acutally study at home. It feels safer compare to the cheaper apartments near by. My apartment is right by the pool so sometimes it can get noisy, but its not too bad. They recently installed cameras at the entrance and near the office, I feel a little bit safer with these additions (esp for my car). The maintance crew is pretty quick to fix anything that is broken, even staying after hours.

Cons:
Office staff is below average. Take my advice and if you need anything fixed, talk to the head maintance guy yourself. Skip the damn office. The unit I got also had many things that needed to be fixed and didn't feel like it was move in ready, however maintance did everything to fix it up. The Main gate also doesn't work.

The other thing that bothers me is that I wash my car on Sunday (only day I get off) and on Monday the damn lawn people go out of their way to blow sand and crap all over it (yes I try to move it away from them). The sad thing is their lawn has barely any grass growing to maintain, yet they keep blowing sand and mulch all over my car.

The overall conclusion is that it's not a bad place to live, compared to the other apartments near by.

Collegial Hall is a collage parting spot. Yes, so the design isn't so great getting into the parking, but that was designed like that for good reason. Your review of Windridge or whatever it called to Collegiate Halls, shows your still in school. Why not go up to Carolwood and find a best place for you taste. That whole area your in is cheap. Trust me, I'm a builder!
