better off as a hotel/resort From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/18/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   These apartments would be better off as a hotel/resort. I like the fact we have a Jacuzzi, pool, fitness center, and picnic area but when is there time to use these facilities when working 40 (plus) hours. I thought it would be worth the extra money because of the additional amenities and the fact they allow big dogs but I will not be renewing my lease. I ve found that other apartments include water and their two bedrooms are the same amount as my extremely small one bedroom. Not an ideal place to live with low income and starting a family. The parking is outrageous and if you want a garage it s (understandably) extra money, same for a gate remote or extra storage. The gate isn t dependable or secure majority of the time. I witnessed someone drive to the side road and over the sidewalk. There is only one number pad and when coming from the Kennedy Space Center (on 405) it s unsafe (especially when it s raining) to make the short u-turn. There are times our neighbors have parked in handicap without a permit and even took two parking spaces with one vehicle. It would also be nice if we had more than one dumpster located on the premises. I love that Summerhill is pet friendly and offers the pet disposable areas but be sure to get powerful flea medication. It would be superb if they had a fenced in area for pets to get exercise! I also found that there is an ample amount of bugs and vultures. The landscaping is pulchritudinous. The location is convenient because wal-mart and target are right next door. These are the only apartments that you will find a washer and dryer in each unit and a Jacuzzi (in Titusville). The staff (as everyone has quoted) is very friendly. So, if you are able to afford this and have time for the amenities this may be your perfect home.
