I have lived here less than 2 months, and here are the problems that I have had so far:
The ice maker broke and was leaking water all into the freezer which froze into an inch-and-a-half thick layer of ice on the bottom of the freezer. The water that didn't freeze leaked into the fridge. The maintenance personnel supposedly fixed it two days after I reported it. But the day after they came to fix it, it wasn't making any ice, and the fridge started getting warmer and warmer. When they came to fix it again, they told me the condensor was broken, so they replaced it with an old, used fridge that was obviously pieced together from several other refridgerators. The drawers don't fit it properly, and the ice tub doesn't sit high enough to trip the "off" bar for the ice maker. At least it works, right' Actually, right now it is leaking water from a busted hose all over the floor in the kitchen and out into the carpet, and even under the cabinets into the carpet on the other side of the cabinets. I have left at least ten messages on the emergency number asking someone to call me to tell me how to shut it off, but I have not heard back from anyone. Furthermore, the dishwasher is so old and stained inside with rust that you can smell the iron in the rust every time you open the door.
