This apartment is alright; as everyone probably knows there isn't a whole lot of apartments in Venice to choose from, and Woodmere is probably the nicest. If you live in the 1 bedroom (the most inexpensive 1 bedroom) don't expect a whole lot of storage space..... AT ALL! There is no linen closet, coat closet..um so really no closet whatsoever expect of course the bedroom, so therefore you have to stick your bath towels and all your toiletries in the bedroom closet or scrunch stuff underneath the sink.
And also the bathroom sucks a**. It is so fricken tiny. No room and drawers for storage or anything!!!!
If you live by the lake expect frogs to jump in when you open your door
I agree that you can hear your other neighbors, but that seriously is like any apartment.
Maintenance has actually been good, they come quickly when you have issues, except for the time when they took 2 months to finally give us back our washer and dryer, just for a simple fix.
I do have to say though that they do keep the outside landscaping looking very nice. But on the other hand, it sucks because we are the ones that are ending up paying for it when they triple the rent when signing another lease. Luckily for me, I am not signing on again:)
But if you have to find somewhere in Venice, this probably is the nicest apartment complex, but not really worth what they charge.
