I've lived here since Sept. 2007. I've seen three management companies so far and have seen big improvements in service, maintenance, and grounds keeping under the current management company, Milestone, and current staff. Within the last year, there have been some much needed staffing changes that have made all the difference. I have had several dealings with the leasing office and maintenance during my time living here (more contact than I want to be sure) and definitely see the improvement in response time and quality of the resolution. In the last six months, I've seen consistent improvements in grounds keeping, litter removal, and keeping the doggy poop bag stations stocked around the property. I enjoy taking my dogs for walks around the property again. I've only seen the pool crowded a few times (kid birthday parties); if anything the pool is under utilized. I play tennis occasionally and was happy to see a new net installed recently. I've started using the workout room and all the equipment works and the room is well kept. I've never used the sauna or tanning bed, so I don't have an opinion.

Some of the problems and complaints reported here are valid (for ex: front gates never worked, thin walls, removed laundry room). The walls are thin. I've been lucky for the most part and have relatively quiet neighbors in my 3 bed/2 bath building. I have a washer/dryer, so I wasn't affected when they removed the laundry room in Dec. 2008. The apartments are not top of the line. I certainly would love to have better sinks and cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, and better quality windows that reduced heat/cold, but I have a reduced rent, so for the money, I'm satisfied.

Improvements are still needed. Here's my wish list: 1) get the security gate working and use it or stop promoting it as a feature, 2) crack down on tenants not picking up after their dogs -- the poop on the grounds is gross and unsanitary, and 3) crack down on speeding and playing load music when driving through the complex (a more recent issue). The apartment complex has more tenants now than when I first moved here. So, more traffic is to be expected. However, if they don't control speeding and blaring music now, it will just get worse and will certainly affect whether or not I renew my lease again. They need to send the message that this type of behavior is unacceptable. This is a family-oriented community with professionals, children, and dogs who want to live in peace.
