As a former resident of Caribbean Villas for four years, I can atest to how awful it was to live there. Apartments are not remodeled before residents are allowed to move in. The carpet, tile, appliances and cabinets are old, along with the air conditioners. For management to be so strict on decent tenants and lax on drug dealers is a mystery to me. This is one of the worst places to have to stay in because of horrible attitude of the manager. She walks around as if she own the place but doesn't push the maintenance personnel to complete service request. I had to complain about maintenance workers being in my apartment while I was at work, when no service request was on file. I was asked by management how I knew they were there. Well I know how I left my apartment, my bed and I don't smoke cigarettes or drink coca cola sodas (which were left behind). The apartments are too small with not enough living, dining room or kitchen space. No one is renting for free and deserves to have the best for their money and this is something you will not get at this place. From management , who no one can get along with to maintenance workers who do not want to work. My advice: if you can find anywhere else to live, please do so. Use Caribbean villas apartments as a last resort and make sure to check your credit report after you move. I have known management to falsify debts not to give back deposits and stop people from obtaining decent living elsewhere.
