Don't believe everything you read !! This place obviously is not Plaza Hotel or The Breakers but with all the other options considered the property good, with well keep landscape and YES a pool. Pool is maintained on a weekly basis. I see the pool company come out myself. Plus they had a great program for my kids this summer at the clubhouse, which was FREE they got lunch & snacks, learned educational stuff, played sports and even went on field trip at the end of the week. This was great! It helped me $$ wise & with child care. Apartments are comfortable and have that home feeling to them. It's a place many call home inlcuding myself; and have called home for over 10 years (at least I know my neighbor has)in my case just a few years. In general, as a resident my advise is drive by the property see it for yourself, don't just take my word or anyone elses word. Some people write negative stuff because they either can't pay their rent (which is cheap) or dont get things done there way. Stop by the office and speak with the staff who are very nice and always willing to help.

As a resident whos stuck at this place because I don't want to mess up my rental history with a broken lease, I disagree with this review. Just last night there were helicopters patrolling within this community and cops strolling around looking for a young male who had just gotten into a brawl earlier. Don't come visit this property during morning hours as it will look peacefull. Come after 3 when all the hoodlums are running around doing bad things like kicking the satelite dishes and throwing every piece of garbage into the bacteria infested pond in the middle of the complex. The Pool? They sometimes have it cleaned twice a week because of all the kids hopping the fence during closed hours that go in it with jeans and sneakers and constantly urinate in it. Just nasty. Office staff is nice, but they don't get nothing done. It goes in one ear and out the other. I've paid my rent on time every month in full since I have been here. I still don't have fixed screens, my closet doors are all broken and I have had to switch from SAT to cable due to the children breaking my dish outside. Landscaping? Ok, if empty gallons of milk and cups and soda bottles on the ground are part of it then they are doing such a good job. It only looks nice by the entrance and the club house. And as far as the summer camp, I would NEVER have had my kids attend. All they did was play around in the tennis court which has no tennis nets and play in the small wooden park and get splinters. They wandered around the drug dealers doing nature walks and poor things sometimes sat by the pool side and didn't get to go in. The ac broke down numerous times and them kids were complaining and miserable. I felt sincerely bad for them. Summer camp is to get "away" from the home not stay in a slump. This is a place for a person or family that doesn't mind the lil bad kids, ghetto neighbors and loud cars and maintenance that wont do their job. They started off with 3 men and 2 of them were gone within a month of me being here. Now they have a whole new batch that's on the verge of getting fired...Trust me I know. Its so sad, that those who are comfortable here are the ones that don't mind this type of enviornment. If you have children in elementary...becarefull : the school district for them is Grove Park..which stands in the 50 and 60 %percentile on their math and state wide reading scores. All in all just a temporary solution to save money I guess. ALSO>>one last thing, DON'T drink the water, I have DHEC coming down next week after months of begging to test this water. It tastes weird and is discolored, I think it may not be drinkable. This place would be a much better place if it had proper security, clean up and stricter curfews for the little runts. Where are all the parents? That's all I have to say. Coming from a person, who HAS paid RENT and DOES have a REAL job and PAYS taxes. AND DOESN'T DO DRUGS. Thank you
