I lived there from 2001-2003. While I didn't find it too too bad the time I was there, I knew there were problems; and I know I got out at a good time because things just went south from there.

I got to know --------- the manager, at the time I was there, and she was always so helpful; but she soon left right before I was about to move out, and the new management team really sucked.

And when I moved out, they tried to apply all these added charges for cleaning, etc. Keep in mind, I hired a cleaning service company to do a thorough clean-up after I moved out. I quickly disputed the charges, and even had to show receipts to prove that I had someone go in and clean. After a number of phone calls (because I was already living in NYC) and emails, they finally gave in and gave me my money back and took off the charges.

So just be careful, and if possible, do a walk-through inspection with them when you move out. I unfortunately didn't have that opportunity since I already had to be in NYC for my new job.
