Why would anyone move into Lake Crystal if you can afford to live in a much better community. And, if you give this place a good review - then it doesn't say a whole lot about you. Or maybe you're one of the tenants that drove us away which also prompted this review.

The place as I know it today is not only "ghetto fabulous" but down right disgusting!!! I use to live here years ago but now reside in Atlanta. But before moving to Atlanta, I broke my lease with Lake Crystal and moved to St. Andrews on Village Blvd. I was a resident of LC from 1994 thru 1996. During this period, LC was not only quiet but well maintained by its then management and tenants. The management staff truly cared about the tenants and the grounds. In 2000, thinking it was in the same condition when I left, I moved back to Lake Crystal from another state Big mistake! Judging from the folks that lived there, it appeared that Management was giving away free leases (lol). Gun shoots, loud and rowdy tenants (BEBE adults & BEBE kids) were some of the everyday occurrences. The management didn't care (I miss Katie - the old manager). The BEBE kids would roam the property all times of night as if though THEY paid the fricking the rent; candy wrappers, beer cans and liquor bottles were always visible on and near the stairs; weed smoking and dealing going on from sun up to sun down; non-residents would just take over the pool (I never went to the pool - was afraid of catching something); there were on-going domestic disputes & dumpsters always overflowing. I have learned that if you view apartments online and there are only pictures of the leasing office and weight room areas displayed - DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! They are hiding something, literally!!
