I am definitely glad my lease ended at Palm Lake Villa when it did! I believe the community is about 18 years from what I was told, and it shows, inside and out. The unit turned out to have very old appliances, heater, etc. which caused for an unsually high utility bill every month. My landlord was nice at first but after I moved in, rarely returned any of my calls when things when on the fritz. (dishwasher over ran, water pressure dropped half way down, and garbage disposal stopped completely) I was renting from someone that didn't even mention the association policies and did not sign me up which caused a BIG problem for me. I order my meals by delivery almost every night. If you are not a member of the association, you can't get code connected to the front gate. On occassion on the weekends late night there would be people hanging out in the parking lot, talk loud, etc.. I even saw the security drive right by them once! For this and several other reasons, I will never rent from a private renter again!
