My original post was deleted' Strange. Anyway let me go over my experience with this place again.
#1 it was the worst place I've ever lived.
#2 The staff is worthless, my roof leaked 8 of the 12 months, and they kept lying to me telling me that it was fixed when it was NOT.
#3 There is NO parking ever. You have to park a mile away from your apartment. I asked them to consider taking out the covered parking, and they told me that was not an option. That would be a real fix to their problem, but they are too greedy to agree with that.
#4 It is so ghetto, there are loud, unsupervised kids running around everywhere, riding bikes, and causing trouble. Some of the kids stole the fancy caps I had on my tires, so they could use them on their ghetto bikes. Want to go for a swim' Forget it, it is like a 3rd world country once you enter into the Pool area. The gym is a joke.
#5 The rent was raised about $100 dollars. Let me go over the dimensions. 1/1 700 SQFT. Tell me how $1,000 is a good deal for this cell'
#6 During the hurricane you will feel like you are going to die. The windows are thin, and sound like they are going to shatter at any minute, the windows also leaked, the roof leaked, the carpet was never long enough to actually reach two of the walls, so it was easy to peel it back and let it air dry. That's right, the carpet didn't fit the room, and it was used, and crispy. They are now trying to charge me $500 to replace it, what a JOKE.
#7 The staff again, is worthless, Any problems you may have, they don't care about. They will give you a blank look, then a S-eating smile, and send you on your way.
#8 The ant problem. The day I moved into the place, there was a Red ant infestation in the kitchen. At first they weren't going to do anything about it till the weekend was over, but after I complained some more they finally sent someone over, good for them. It was disgusting, the kitchen walls were dark red with ants, and they were coming in from a large crack in the ceiling.
They never actually let me see the place I was going to live, until after I signed the paper work. They pulled a bait and switch that's for sure.
Do not live here, if you are looking for a nice peaceful, comfortable place to live. IF you have high blood pressure or heart issues, do not live here the stress of the leaking room, ant problem, no parking, and retarded staff will cause you serious health problems.
An UPDATE
Ok, so after moving out of this place, I receive a bill for $105 they are making me pay to replace carpets they claimed I damaged!!! First they overcharged me on my last months rent, and they put that toward the "damaged carpet" and then they took the rest of my deposit and applied it to the carpet, altogether they charged me $500 to replace carpet that was NOT damaged, it was normal wear and tear, not even that it is a ONE bedroom apartment, NO pets, hardly any guests because I was embarrassed to have them see my miserable place, and NO one was murdered in the place. Also my carpet was NOT NEW when I moved in there were creases in the carpet from the old tenants tv, bed, furniture, etc. What was the redecorating fee for' I paid them $400 to replace someone's carpet, it wasn't mine, and apparently it didn't cover this "damaged" Carpet of mine. They are thieves. I am in the process of working this out with them, they are being VERY UNCOOPERATIVE! I am NOT paying for USED carpet, also I never damaged the carpet, it's disgusting that they would try to recycle the carpet that many times anyway! Also the roof in my apartment leaked most of the time I lived there. Did they give me a reduction on rent for having to deal with a roof that leaked' NO. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE BRAINLESS THIEVES, AND HARD TO WORK WITH. This was one of the worst places I have ever lived.

You obviously need to purchase a home unless your credit will not warent that. I have lived in this community since it opened and find it a great place to live instead of blaming the staff for your problems and it sounds to me that they had no control over a lot of them why don't you purchase a home on a few hundred acres and join a fitness center this way you do not have to deal with society. Sincerely You will love living here. |

I think that you work in the office. How can I control my roof that leaks? That is their responsibility. How can I control the ghetto kids running around stealing things? Or the fact that the staff has made me replace used carpet. I have an update actually. After talking to Karen, she was still not willing to ammend the situation, she instead gave me an email address to send my complaints to. I haven't heard back yet of course. I also mentioned I posted on this site, so it's odd that all the sudden there are a lot of new positive posts don't you think? Riverbridge staff is ridiculous as you can see by their sad attempt to get a higher rating.
