To get right to the point, we were guaranteed an apartment and it was going to be ready in November. We had made a deposit and paid the application fee. Two months after making the deposit on our future apartment, we find out that the people in that apartment decide to stay. We didn't even receive a call, My boyfriend had to call to verify that the apartment would be ready in November and that is how we found out. They couldn't even give us a phone call to let us know about the situation. We have been trying to get in touch with the manager and she cannot even handle the situation. She hasn't returned any of our phones calls even though she has said several times that she would "touch base" with us. I understand we signed the contract that said the application fee was non-refundable but we only applied because that was the apartment we were getting. Now we have been told we might not get our deposit back. St. Andrews screwed us over and they should give us our money back. They are trying to avoid the situation. This is ridiculous. This happened before we even moved in imagine what would happen after moving in.

Your problem with St. Andrews dosen't surprise me and I wish you luck in getting your money back. I have now lived at St. Andrews for 7 months and can't get them to fix anything properly or at all for that matter. I call the office and they say they will call me back and NOTHING...I would like to just up and move out but they will come after you for "their" money owed for breaking the lease, and as soon as my lease is up IM OUTTA HERE
