First off let me say that I have lived in Sanctuary Cove for several years and throughout most of that period it has been pretty nice. I wish the management had more events for the residents (only two in the whole time I've lived here), but, hey, you can't have everything.

Lately, though I have noticed things starting to change. I am seeing ALOT of people who I would not expect to be able to afford living here (draw your own conclusions on what that means). I couldn't figure out what was going on. The rents here are not cheap and previously I always saw fairly high class people around the complex. I inquired at the management office and got the usual "we do not discriminate blah blah blah." What I finally found out is that (i) the rents here have been drastically lowered and (2) you get the first one and half months free. This means if you figure out the per month rent (including the month and a half free), you can rent a 3-bedroom apartment for around $1,200 a month. That is a tremendous decrease over what I am paying.

I am starting to see a great deal of the same sort of people living here that I see when I drive through Riviera Beach. That is NOT what people moved here for. If the apartment complex wants to lower their rents to attract that class of people, they will find the longtime residents moving out.

So draw your own conclusions. By the way, I also believe that the complex has had several new managers in the last few months. Maybe the ones that left couldn't quite make the quota to fill the place up. In any event, the trend here is not good for people who want to live in a high class place.
