I lived there from 1994-2000. I was held up at gun-point in the parking lot, right outside of my apartment. Of course, I filled out a police report. Springtree had nothing to say about it. They never even contacted me. They didn't care. Crime is terrible there.

There was also Hurricane Irene (October 1999)that caused some damage. 6 months after the storm, I had to actually go to the leasing office and BEG them to make repairs on my patio (that was unusable).

The value of the apartment wasn't very good either. The first year, they seemed to give you an "average" rate, however, they bump the rent up significantly with each renewal. For the price, I could have moved to a better neighborhood (which I eventually did).
