Honestly when I moved to the area, this complex got my attention b/c of its lush tropcial greenery...it almost looks like a resort. The office staff are WONDERFUL!!! Its nice and refreshing to be greeted each time with a hello and they all seem to know your name! There is a security gate out front...sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't. They do however have a security guard on premise I believe around 11pm every night. The parking lots are well lit and there are pleanty of spots available. The only negative thing I can say about this complex is that the units are VERY dated. The complex was built in the 80's and most of the appliances on the inside seem to be the originals...stove/micro/w/d/fridge..etc. Dated popcorn ceilings, dated wood cabinets/vanity, dated blinds, the walls have been painted over so many times, its definately time to invest in some remodeling going forward. The kitchen cabinetry is rediculously small, you almost HAVE to buy some kind of extra storage. The square footage on the inside is quite nice though...large kitchen...large bedrooms..and LARGE closet space which is a plus! You even get a nice little patio outside :). The neighbors pretty much keep to themselves here...which is a good thing! I never had any issues with loudness etc. The surrounding neighborhood is 'ok', there seems to be the slums a few miles behind the complex...and I had an issue with a youth attempting to break in my apt at one point. However, I must say that I think this just happened to be a rare occasion and you shouldn't base your stay on this one incident. Communication here is top notch...they are constantly updating you and sending info on whats going on. I enjoyed my time here and would recommend this place if you think its right for you.
