we have lived here for almost two years now. The place is great, very quiet, friendly management, above average maintenance. but the problem is.... we got a renewal notice and guess what they are not raising our rent!!!!! great news right!!!! not really i just checked online and they are renting (to new customers) the same size appts in our building at $180/month less then what they are charging us. we talked to the management staff and what they said is "you were locked in at that market rate when you moved in so we cannot give you a cheaper rate then that. the market rate for new leases has gone down so new leases get it at a cheaper rate therfore we cant do anything for you". so basically if you have been living here for sometime and have been giving them good business you pay more but new business gets it cheaper. ..... go figure!!!!!

i'm pretty sure that when you first move in here you also got a better deal than those that were residents already. so now it is just the same thing, others have to have the chance of a moving special.
