I lived in Village Place for almost a year. But I decided to leave because they constantly allow the maintenance people to go into the apartment with no reason. Also they have allowed people to move in the complex with questionable life styles. Every night in the building that I lived in and the one accross from me ( near the tennis court ) the police and ambulance were there ( If possible go and get reports from the City of WPB on how much police activity within 2008-2009 ). There would be yelling in the halls and fighting at all times of the night that constantly kept me and my kids up. Once I even got a knock on my door at 4:00am from a police officer asking me questions about my neighbors ( I thought that was VERY crazy as well as aggrevating). I even became weiry with my daughter catching the school bus and getting dropped off at the corner of Brandywine and walking home because of the questionable maintenance men and residence that were now there. And to make matters even worst. I decided to move out without an eviction proceedure and management allowed the maintenence to go into my apartment an remove things and change the locks without my permission and without the laws permission. I then had to get permission to go back into the apartment to retrieve my belongings when I realized my jewlery was missing. Once I informed management they tried to tell me that the guys had not moved anything but when they was questioned in front of me they admitted on moving things, but my jewlery has not been retrieved. I had to get a police report because they were not even suppose to enter the apartment let alone change my locks. The management act like they are Gods and they live in there own little worlds ( little do they realize they still live in America and they have to abide by American rules not make them up as they go along ).
