I have been reading all the reviews about the Windward at the Villages. It's troubling that people can write such nasty and hurtful things about such a great place. I do have to agree with some of it. 1. Yes sometimes you have to park pretty far from your apartment because of parking and yes you might get wet. That's why umbrellas were invented and for you to use. 2. Yeah you can hear sometimes what your neighbors do or people walking up and down the stairs. It's call Apartment living. It happens at any apartment complex that you live at. 3. Yes Management in the past has been really bad. I have lived at this Community for 3 years. In the 3 years that I have been there we have had 4 managers. The first manager that was there was awesome. Very good and would get things done. The 2nd and 3rd was horrible and didn't do anything for the Community. The current Manager that is there now is wonderful and awesome. You can go into her office and she will love to talk to you, help you out and do anything that she can for you. I have seen that property go from being a horrible place to a wonderful place. There is a lot of upgrades taking place and there is a lot of things taking place. Windward at the Villages is not a Section 8 property and never will be. I don't understand why people are saying that. From having Manager experience from being a Community Manager of an Apartment complex the only people that ever move out and write such horrible reviews are the people that caused the problems, didn't get along with their neighbors, didn't pay their rent on time, or just are nasty people. I live in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. Since they have painted the buildings the new colors my electric bill HAS NOT CHANGED. I still pay the same amount each month. The way to save money on your electric bill is to turn off the ceiling fan when your not in the room, turn your A/C on 78 degrees during the day (why cool it when your not there) it will stay cool in your apartment and when you get home turn it down to the desired temp will take about 15 minutes to cool your apartment down. Turn off the lights in the rooms that your not in. It's called common sense people. If you ever listen to the FPL people or read the little statements in your FPL bill you would have already new about these little tips.
The Windward at the Villages is a beautiful property. The new owners have upgraded the property so well. They have redone the pool area to make it look really nice. Repainted all the buildings, put new equipment in the mini gym, upgraded the apartments, new appliances. If your having problems with your neighbors making way to much noise and the office is closed then what you need to do is call the NON-Emergency number to the WPB Police. They will come out and take care of it.
The Windward at the Villages are a wonderful place to live at. ALL the employees ie; Community Manager, Assistant Community Manager, Leasing Consultant, Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Tech all of them are wonderful people. They will go out of their way to assist you. People stating that the Maintenance being drunk while on the job is just 100% incorrect and is not true. Feel free to call anyone at the office 561-684-1223 they will be glad to assist you and answer any questions that you may have. This community is great. You have a lot that you can do and btw (the gates are working but they are off until AT&T comes out to fix the call box so the tenants are not locked out of the property). IF anyone has had to deal with AT&T then they know that they take their sweet time. There is more than one call into them with the office complaining and also tenants complaining.
In closing please do not read these other people's reviews and take what they say to heart. Come by the Windward at the Villages and see for yourself what the Community has to offer or call and speak to anyone in the office. They will be glad to assist you. These bad reviews are just wrong and 100% incorrect. Like I stated I have lived at the property for 3 years and have had no problems that the Management didn't get taken care of quick.
Thanks,
A Concerned Resident of Windward at the Villages.

I'm concerned with A Concerned Resident's abuse of the English language. That's the caliber of neighbor you'll find at Windward. Probably had a few Bud Lights with the maintenance man!

This is the exact same post from last week. You can tell because it kept the responses the same. So that just means that you are too stupid to create another account or you couldn't find one person who actually likes to live here to post. It's also weird that all the people who are giving praise have the same picture to post. Hmm? I'm glad you have fixed your horrible grammar up...

This review was posted again by a mistake. It shouldn't have been posted again yesterday. I am the one that wrote the post and I never posted anything yesterday. I do apologize that this has happened. I was looking at this today and seen the same thing you did. Sorry about that.
