My neighbor told me about all the craziness going on here and I had to come read it all myself. I dislike living here as well. I don't agree with all the things these othere tenants said but I do have some major gripes. The maintenance department is a TOTAL nightmare. This place goes through maintenance men like diapers and they all don't know much about anything. They are all nice guys, just underqualified. Robin and Heather are VERY nice. However, they fail me over and over again when I ask them for something. If you ask me, they are in way over their heads. That doesn't make them bad people, it just makes them very unqualified. The building has definitely become hotter since the new colors were painted. For whoever posted on here a while ago and said that their electric bill has stayed the same is for sure an employee because after the colors were painted on, the staff sent out a letter with ways to keep your new dark colored apt cool. ( they told everyone to buy blackout shades)The outside grounds are descent and the safety is better now then it was in the past. I don't know of anything that has happened recently. The parking isn't very good and there is a lot of cars that are broken down and never move. There is also a camper of some sort near the back that never moves. The stuff about the beer in the Golf carts is also true, I have seen that in the past. The 2 new maintenance guys seem pretty good but the past maintenance staff has been terrible. My biggest problem with the community would probably be the maintenance dept. Windward needs to pay professionals to do a lot of the jobs that are above the maintenance men's pay grade. I don't personally dislike anyone that works here. However, they all are pretty unmotivated and they have their hands full with a crappy complex. I also don't have any neighbors that I dislike. I think there are some good people in this community. It's not the people upstairs fault that they have wood floors. The water/sewer/trash bill is high but it's not crazy high. The price for the apartment is very reasonable, but it's that way for a reason. I fully expect an employee to post a 5 star rating soon after this and tell me how wrong I am because that seems like it is par for the course on here. Just remember, when you post a reply, tell me where I'm wrong. Don't just say how wonderful this place is, tell me what I said that is untrue. Also, I saw that there is a manager post option on the apt page. So if your reading this Heather or staff, tell us what your doing to make this place better other than cosmetic outside improvements. I would imagine that only 20% of the residents use the pool area. Please don't reply to my comments by trying to start a fight. If you think I'm wrong, tell me what I said that was wrong. If you know that Heather has a BA in Management or a degree in buisness, you can let me know. If Randy has graduated from some high end trade school, I'd also love to hear about it. But if you are just going to call me "some guy who didn't pay his rent" or "must have been evicted" you're wrong. I tried to keep my rating professional as possibel while trying to state the facts. This has not been for anyone who lives here. This is for anyone who wants to move in. I would not recommend this comlex based on the work it needs done and the maintenance deptartment. The rent is cheap though, so if you're hard up for money and need housing, I would only sign a 6 month lease until you can get back on your feet. Otherwise, I wold look at moving into Ibis (on Northlake), Gable Montecito (Northlake), or San Merona (off PGA).

Thanks for the dumb blanket response I was speaking of in my original post, Robin. Thank you for confirming that you are all uneducated, underqualified and unprofessional. Also, thanks for creating another account to post the exact same message yesterday, giving everything a 5 again. You people are worthless.

First off my name isn't Robin. I am a male not a female. 2nd I was just trying to answer your questions that you posted. I do apologize if that didn't happen. I don't know who Robin is. I only know of Heather because she is a Manager of an Apartment Complex. That's the only reason I know of her. Sorry that your answers were not answered the way you wanted. I tried to give you the best information possible. It seems that no matter what people post on here or what current residents that love the property say there is always going to be drama. It is very childish that people will go onto a rating site for Apartments and fight. If you are not happy with where you live don't keep renewing your lease. Just remember there is always worse places to live. Heather I see you have your hands full with the crazy reviews people that can't be happy. You are one strong Manager and just hang in there.
