When we first came to Gables from out of state, we thought it was fantastic and like living in a dream resort. After the hurricane in 10/2005, the place went downhill. Gangs began hanging out and drinking, they started setting the palm trees on fire, began fighting in the middle of the night...and the crime started to increase. We notified the staff, and even called 9-1-1 several times to stop the fires and the fighting. We could not wait to move in May, 2006. I agree with everything in the previous post...it is right on.
