I don't know who wrote the first review, but they obviously haven't lived there for a while. Now, The owners have put their child (husband and wife)in charge, who know absolutely nothing about the apartment business. I had a friend who lives there who was charged 50 dollars for a new doorknob, only to have an old used one from a vacant unit installed. They refused to give his money back, saying sorry, we already deposited it. Yeah, into their wallets. Another old friend Had two seperate vehicles broken into. One guy tells me they are charging $10 cash if they have to come open your door because you accidentaly locked the key inside. Again...In their wallets. One really old guy couldn't wash his clothes so he gave the landlord $200 cash, and asked her to do his laundry at a hefty $20 a load. 10 weeks later she said she was charging per week not per load and needed more money, even though she only did 6 loads. If you are a senior citizen they WILL squeeze money out of you, it's unfair for you, and probably illegal. Somebody should look into their shady dealings as managers/landlords. BE SAFE!!!

I am the owner and management agent for Evergreen. If there had been those problems, I wish someone had contacted me. The property has always been a safe place to live as well as being well maintained. We do not charge our residents to let them in their apartment if they lock themselves out. Presently, I am the manager at Evergreen and the new manager starts next week. The new maintenance man started in August.

You are absolutely right!!! The management team there are stealing from not just the ederly,but from everyone else. They came in there and just took over. They do anything and everything that they want and no one does anything about it. Until now. I hope that the OWNER of this complex gets off her lazy butt and looks into what the heck is going on. I feel sorry for who lives there now,because I know that some of them are scared and thats why the HUD has not been called in to investigate this matter. Please stand together and speak out. Don't be afraid. I use to live there and it was a desent place to lay your head down at night, but when they came in it went to crapsville. Someone should report her if nothing else for abuseing her kids.Maybe that will get the ball rolling.

I agree with both of you. i am a former resident and was very happy until the new "management" took over. We no longer got notices that they were coming into our apartments for pest control and stopped getting rent reciepts. I was robbed by the manager and therefore I moved. I was tired of hiding all of my valuables everday before i left for work. I know that i am not the only one that was stolen from. i DO NOT reccomend this complex to ANYONE. if the management will steal directly out of your apartment there is no telling what they will do with your personal information that is in your files. I am sicken that the management has gotten away with taking advantage of the eldery. Please think twice about renting an apartment from Evergreen.
