This is the second time I have lived at Riverlake. The first time was for 3 years moved in 2005. I never had a problem with roaches...(but I also don't live like a pig). I have moved back from out of state and didn't hesitate to call up Riverlake. I haven't had the first roach (but I keep a clean apartment). So, I will tell you what I tell my children. Don't leave food around, clean up after yourself and you won't have a problem with roaches. Yeah they need to get the landscape up to par but that will happen in time. I live inside the apartment not outside. If your aren't happy people then move don't keep complaining about it. There are tons of apartments around Winter Haven and if you think this one is section 8 then you will be really scared when you go and check the other apartment complexs out. This is the queens castle compared to them.
Remember you are the only one who controls your destiny...!!!!!

I agree with you anonymous. The apartment is only as clean as you keep it. I lived there from 1993 to 2003 and never had any bug problems. I live in the UK now but I do miss the place and have a good friend who still lives there. I could walk my two dogs late at night and always felt safe there. My wife used to clean the appartments there and she could fill a book on the filth she had to clean. Some people do live like pigs..
