I am a former tenant of this complex. And also a former college student that was searching for an affordable place at the time. I was drawn in by the low prices, and the fairly well kept office area. The staff was expiditious about getting the paperwork taken care of. There is lots of parking available.
However that is all the positive things I have to say about this place. The Office is the best kept building in the complex. It becomes quite obvious after looking around several of the units that they are old, moldy, and parts of the buildings have been shoddily patched up and painted over to make it appear nice from the main road. The management will never be speedy about fixing things, and they hate being told that they are wrong. Upon my roommate questioning them about something that needed to be done and asking about a time frame we can expect things to be fixed, they tried to tell her that her dog was not "on the lease" yet we paid pet rent monthly. The air conditioner in our unit was moldy (a health hazard by the way) and we were given a filter that did not fit to replace the old one. This was never fixed. I could regularly hear fighting, and the apartment below us was home to about a dozen -------- that constantly leered at my female roommate.
Upon trying to move out, they informed us that we had to give them 60 days notice instead of the 30 that was originally in the contract prior to the management change, and forced us to pay an additional month's rent despite the fact we had moved out. To boot, some of my belongings were stolen in broad daylight when we finally escaped the place, as if to just rub salt into the wounds.
Don't rent here, and don't let the new fancy name and exceptionally well kept office area fool you into thinking that this complex is a good place to live. I intend to never rent from this company again.

I'm sorry you feel that way about the complex. But let me set the record straight.
1. Before the new management took over the lease stated 60 days not 30 you were just mad because you did not give proper notice.
2. The staff in the office is very responsive to problems and the maintenance staff fixes things if you let them know and you do not have a dog that you don't put up therefore they cannot go into your apartment.
3. Since the new management has arrived they have done nothing but fix the community, Buildings and inside of the apartments up.
You are just a bitter resident writing a bad review because you are mad that you had to stay an extra month because you did not give proper notice. Next time you sign a lease maybe you should read what you sign and not make up stories to make yourself look good and make the apartment community look bad.
Oh and by the way if you lived there from 2005 to 2006 you are refering to the oher management company and the complex name was summerchase. The new company bought the property in June 2007 and changed the name.
Anyone reading this review that are not refering to Azure they are refering to Summerchase the former management company.
