This was the worst place I have ever lived by a long shot. The office staff is rude and disrespectful, the apartments are disgusting, the walls are paper thin, there is so many potholes you have to dip and dodge to avoid and in the year and a half that I lived there they were never repaired, It takes the maintenance men days sometimes weeks to respond to a crucial problem like air conditioning, My car was repeatedly a victim of theft, I could keep going but hopefully by now you have the point. There are way better places around for cheaper.

The walls are *not* paper thin, but something about the entry doors and hallways/stairwells can make it seem very noisy at times because some people don't know how to behave and/or speak softly. And it's important to remember that the staff gets changed pretty often; the complex has a long and troubled history making it difficult to manage. It attracts mid-level criminal activity because of its location and ease of access and exit coupled with occasional lighting problems. Notice that none of the employees live anywhere near the place. On the other hand, people such as Andrew Knapp (sp?) really don't care about the residents; he seems to power-trip over being the Big Man, has a supercilious demeanor, and will let you know with his faces and other body language that you are inconsequential to him. Get staff names before signing anything. The other comments in "So Wack" [sic] are dead-on correct. You can check the Sheriff's data, but you won't find all the crime reported; a lot of people don't like to alert their insurance carriers to things like stuff stolen from cars. And be aware that whole cars might disappear to be replaced by stolen cars needing an unwatched drop-off. |
