first of all winter park is one of the nicest parts of orlando, second of all emerald bay which is now changed its name to Empirian at Winter park (do not be fooled) is prolly the worst place to live in all of orlando, like most of the other people's posts you've read if you have emerald bay is full of drugs, violence, plenty of domestic violence, poverty and people that dont speak english, my friend got his door kicked in and had a gun put in his mouth and they put him in the bathtub, stole everything in his apartment, and all this happened around 5pm on a weekday...no one saw nothing, i experienced many things, i had puerto ricans surround my house with guns tryin to get in until the cops got there, i learned the prices for about every drug while i was there, only thing i didnt see was heroin or acid, weed, coke, excstacy, shrooms, pills, and many other drugs are at your finger tips, u can get any of those drugs quicker than u could go to the store and buy a pack of cigarettes, the people that work at emerald bay are all spanish, they are all shisters, i am in a law suit with them right now cuz i left when my lease was over and they said i never signed ---- after my lease or somethin they are suing me for over 3,000 dollars and i did nothin wrong, helicopters fly overhead with spotlights throughout various nights of the week searching for criminals on the run, many times u'll come home and the whole apartment complex is shut down by cops searching for someone in there, or you'll be having dinner and notice 25 white blazers with orange county tags doing a normal drug raid like its nothing, many nights you'll sleep to the sound of your neighbor screaming at his pregnant girlfriend then pursuing to beat her, many nights you'll hear gun shots off in the distance, many times your air conditioner wont work in the middle of july and it will take them til december to come and fix it cause the workeers are all lazy, illiterate and inconsiderate, i could write so much more, so much more, i'll tell you what though, the place made me more responsible and made me grow up, i made a lot of friend living there because alot of full sail students get sucked in, but this is not a place you want to send yourself or send your kids, do not believe ANY of the GOOD postings about the place, its the people that work there tryin to get people to come in, please do not move in there, please take my word for it you'll regret it. peace!
