While planning our escape we decided to put together a list of all the reasons we had to get out. We moved in June of 2006, and have been dying to get out ever since. We'll share some of our "special" events here.

One day while cleaning the bathroom I leaned up against the tiles and all hell broke loose. My hand went right through the wall and knocked out about 8 of the tiles. A few minutes later an incredible stench started creeping through the walls. We called in for maint. and they came in and patched it up ( as usual ) and now we are scared to touch the tiles.

As for the Washer & Dryers, they are TERRIBLE.! There are no refunds and no one takes responsibility for the damaged appliances. We always have to go to the laundry mat down the street to get the job done.

Whoever thought of how to do the water bill is a complete idiot and obviously does not have to pay the water here. We pay anywhere from $55 to $80 dollars of water and we cant even use the stupid washers here. The way it works is the following: The complex gets one water bill, and they charge everyone in a 3 bedroom apt a certain rate, everyone in a 2 bedroom apt a certain rate, etc. It has NOTHING to do with how much water you use.

Don't even get me started on the paint jobs. They paint over everything. Im pretty sure someone drunk, or blind had to do the job. In our bathrooms the tubs had this black color on them and we scrubbed them to death, but that color wouldn't come off. So we called the office and they said that they would send someone over to fix it. Of course they fixed this problem the same way they would fix everything else, patching it up. They came in with a can of paint, and painted right over it. According to them - problem solved. This wasn't the only time we saw something as crazy as this. On the side of the bathroom door they painted right over a roach. YUCK.!

Our stove is old just like everything else, so we figured it wouldn't be a 100% efficient. Boy were we off, and here's how we work around it. If you want to use the oven you'd better start pre-heating before you leave to work. The burners take turns working, and when one of them decides to work it must suck up all of the power from the other 3 because it's on super high scorching heat even when set on low.

Our sliding glass door has never closed completely. They've come to patch it up a few times but it still doesnt shut all the way. We have started getting used to our lizard friends, and our air leaks out through the crack.

The window in the master bedroom was so loose once, it almost fell out of the wall. Every time someone closed one of their doors in the apt the window rattled. Eventually they came to fix it but now, our shades wont open.

The shower heads trickled whenever i was taking a shower. I told them how little water i was getting and I wanted to know if they could come to clean out the shower head or just replace it. I dont know how the lady at the office relayed the message but this was what I got, The maint. guy he must've said "Oh! She wants water'! I'll give her water" He came and replaced the shower head. When i went to take a shower I almost drowned.! Water was shooting out of everywhere and hard too. Becareful what you ask for.

One of my UPS packages was refused. Although i've lived here two years they said my name was not on the lease.

When you call maint. They come to patch up the problem, but you have to put in the request several time with several different people in the office because no one writes anything down.

And really, what is up with that rectangular hole in the outside wall by Krystals'

AGREED! I went through the same hell!!! However, you forgot to mention the syringe needles in the bottom of the pools, getting your clothing stolen as you are walking back to your apartment, the INCREDIBLE infestation of roaches no matter how many lizards come in to eat them, the RIDICULOUS energy bills, the gun shots at night, and the ever so rude office staff...

I live here and can not WAIT to get out...I have almost every problem the person above stated...this must have been my neighbor who moved out before me. This is the worst place EVER! and what is with that rectangular hole in the wall by Krystal?
