I lived at Bishop Park for 1 year. The staff was always rude and it took 48 to 72 hours for repairs....well not even, it took them that long just to look at the problem. The gates were ALWAYS broken. They really need to consider just trashing them and not charging tenants the cost of a gate key. Now I have a close friend that lives there so I am constantly over. It seems that Bishop Park has gotten even worse. When I lived there they had just painted the units and took care of breezways. But now there are discusting... I mean you have to hold your nose. They are in dire need of some pressure washing. Speaking of washing there's been a washing machine and dryer sitting outside the unit across the hall now for a good 2 weeks. The grounds are not kept up at all. They're are infested with snakes and there is a big spider problem inside the unit. They've called many times about the bugs but nothing is ever done. Parking is a nightmare plus its very poorly lit, a couple months ago my friend came out to his car one morning to find his tires stolen and the car up on blocks. I would not recomend this place to anyone. I would however recomend Newport Colony which is right down the road about 5 minuets. They are wonderful. I lived there for a year and never had a single problem. The units are made very well, I never had a noise problem. Grounds are beautiful and always kept up. They also have this wonderful 24 hour maintenace guarantee I think it was if they weren't there within the 24 hours you were credited a prorated day of rent. But they were always there within less. The price is the same and the units are bigger with hudge kitchens...The staff was wonderful. Plus I had a pet which ruined the carpet but my deposit covered it. Bishop Park claims to be a "luxury Apartemnt Complex" Probably because it's gated (but like i said earlier, they're never closed) and the roman tubs...let me tell you about these "roman tubs" they are disgusting not even industrial strength cleaner will get the stains out of the plastic..yes plastic tubs...and plastic sinks to go along. Bishop Park used to be a nice place but now there just rundown soon to be part of ghettoville. Like I said check out Newport Colony instead.
