This is by-far the worst placed I've lived in the East Winter Park area. Management is terrible. The apt. manager is horrible, rude, and unreasonable person; she's always definsive b/c she fails to do her job. In addition, the maint. staff is worthless and cannot fix anything (that is, if they show up at all--usually they never show-up to fix stuff). The only thing I see the maint. men doing is hitting on single women by the trash compactor, which perpetually overflows.
Nevermind that the garbage compactor is constantly full and a warm, SMELLY BREEZE pollinates the air on my portch and in my car when I enter the complex. The gate is ALWAYS BROKEN!!! Bottomline - management can't keep good on their end, but they surely bleed their residents for money!!!
Eventually, maint. will enter your apartment, but it's when you're not aware they'll be there, so make sure you wear clothes to bed, lock-up your pets daily, and don't leave anything valuable out. Maint. will inevidtably damage your stuff and report your pets as vicious while supposedly "fixing" something that you reported months ago.
If you want to live at Bishop Park, realize that you will be paying a lot of money for shoddy apartment living!!! This place is very expensive, considering there is cheap cabnetry and fixtures. And, if you want to renew, you might as well know, they will bleed you for all it's worth. Fox example, I paid a $350 deposit for my cat. The following year when I renewed my lease, the managemnt added a new stipulation to the lease - an additional $20/ month for "Pet Rent." I think this sounds croocked, but they refuse to negotiate. Now I'm stuck paying an additional $240/ year for my pet. They are making tones of money off of me!!!
The only good thing is that it probably has less crime than most East Winter Park/UCF area apartments.
