Not only did they not have the apartment ready when we moved here from over 1,200 miles away, but we were supposed to have a lake view, and now we are on top of 436. The cabinetry, doors, blinds, etc are CHEAP, and our lock hardly even works. We have not had heat since we moved in (11 months ago) and our A/C is so bad that we were paying electircity bills of over $240/month during the summer for a 900 sq. ft. place!

All you hear at night is loud rap music blasting from Full Sail student's cars as they get out of class at 1am and later. Don't even get me started on the "gated community" aspect....the gate hasn't worked at all since we moved in, but you know that the horrible and BITCHY management charged us for a gate card (which doesn't even work on the few and far between occassions that the gate is actually working) This is the reason why the gate is always broken...I think over half the people who live here don't have a key card that works, and because I live very close to the gate I hear and SEE people ramming the gate open with their vehicles!

The pool and hottub are cleaned every now and again, and the hottub is hot about 25% of the time. The work out room is NEVER air conditioned, and the windows barely even open either, so it's like working out in a sauna. Don't let the women in the office fool you to think they are nice. They are unwilling to compromise as many other postings have stated, and the maintenence will almost NEVER show up.

I will now list the problems in our apartment that have NEVER been fixed even after we have asked multiple times:
-AC barely works
-Heat does not work AT ALL
-Garbage disposal is completely broken
-Lock doesn't latch properly
-Fridge light won't come on
-bathroom floor is coming apart
-closet light pull string fell off
-netting on balcony blew off in a storm and we found the netting days later in a shrub!
-kitchen sink leaks
-OUTDOOR LIGHTS ARE NEVER ON!! THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM AS WE LIVE ON THE 3RD FLOOR, AND IT IS DANGEROUS TO WALK UP AND DOWN 2 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS WHEN THERE ARE NO LIGHTS ON THE APARTMENT BUILDINGS!

According to the leasing agreement, there are certain dog breeds that are restricted, but my neighbors have a pit bull and I have seen many, many other big and mean dogs roaming around. Management does not care because they make more money off of these animals.

The garbage is constantly overflowing, and that smell does waft in the florida heat! Maitenance just seems to drive around on golf carts and flirt with girls all day long. Also, we SIGNED a piece of paper with mangagement stating that maitenence is to NEVER enter out place if we have not set up an appointment and wil be home, but they come in anyway as they please and without any notice at all. It scares me and I feel unsafe living in my own apartment all the time.

All this for only $800/month (no utilities!!) So, if you love to get ripped off, lied to, live without heat, AC, a garbage disposal, a work out room with out AC, and listen to traffic on 436, cars slamming into the gate, and rap music at all hours of the night, move right in! My apartment will be available soon, and then you can live like I did for 12 fun months!

I agree with the author of this review. Three major problems with this complex are the management, the maintenance crew and the gate. There are other problems which I will add on at the end of this, but these are the most important. The maintenance crew must not be trained in anything. Ask the question to management: Do you have the proof the maintenance crew has the knowledge and licenses (you want to see the licenses) to actually work on projects that occur in this apartment complex? And then request to see the actual proof, if these individuals have licenses to work on electricity, plumbing, building structures, or pest extermination. I think you will find quite the opposite, from what I have experienced. Maybe background investigations into the maintenance crew and especially the management should be done by the complex owners, even if it's for the safety of all residences in this apartment complex and just so they know what is really occurring at this establishment. The management is very rude and should be fired many times over. She is incompetent and should not be dealing with the public. I know for a fact the management of this complex has been reported and will be investigated for being just that; incompetent, rude and unbecoming a human being. To the management: If you can't deal with people, you should not have a job that deals with people. The gates never work. ALWAYS BROKEN. What's so safe about that??? How can one feel secure in their own apartment? Price of the apartment should be lowered for all if part of the rent has stipulated "a gated community." Huge raccoons are always around the trash and running wild. Definite health hazard. Maybe even rabies. Mold and mildew are abundant, causing major health issues requiring hospitalization and doctor's visits for asthma that has been dormant. Bugs are prevalent everywhere. And if you ask for pest treatment, Ha...good luck! I think they spray them with water, or maybe sugar water to attract them more. I see the maintenance crew riding around in their golf carts, just wandering around aimlessly. And it's true, they do come into your apartment when you are not there. Probably because they are actually NOT working and they don't want anyone to see them NOT work. When they finally do leave your apartment, the job they originally came to fix is still messed up, and probably in worst condition than before. To the point you cannot use that item for quite sometime. That is not the customary way of living. You have basics needs. This has actually happened. I saw a response to another review that made me see red. To all the people who have not experienced these problems yet, (the operative word being "yet") Don't be so high and mighty about telling others who have had these experiences to move out if they are unhappy. It's not that simple. It's just that you have not had the "wonderful" (insert sarcasm) experiences everyone else seems to be having in this apartment complex. Wait till something breaks, or you start having to pay large water bills or electric bills because of something the maintenance crew does not know how to fix or refuses to fix. Then lets hear from you again. I'm so positive you will change your mind. GET NEW MANAGEMENT AND NEW MAINTENANCE CREW AT THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX FAST.

All because the dog is a pitbull doesn't mean that it's a mean dog, I've never been exposed to a mean pit, they're the sweetest dogs in the world and it's people like you that give them their bad name.

Wow, I thought we were the only ones that felt this way. When we have complained about our Full Sail neighbors the staff actually called us "Crack pots". I guess I am because I like to sleep at night! And the filth and dog crap......The management are the worst I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with!
