When we first moved here we were promised a nice apartment with a nice view, upon arriving with our belongings we were told sorry, we have to put you in a different apartment. The apartment we received was absolutely filthy! It faced a very loud road. It had not been cleaned after the other tenants, walls filthy with cobwebs hanging off of them, carpet dirty, floors dirty, the people before us had a pet that had chewed the blinds (which took 3 years for them to replace). The air conditioner was broken and it was hot out. Of course they could not fix it right away. We scrubbed and cleaned and made it livable, and soon found out this was the least of our problems! We had signed a lease and soon found out it was worthless unless you wanted to break it! They refused to enforce their own rules! The grounds are covered in dog ----, and is easily smelled if one opens there lanai doors. Most of the people who live here blast their stereos from their apartments and cars, and there is absolutely no soundproofing whatsoever! The bedrooms are adjacent to your neighbors living room, so even if they were quiet you could still hear them fart! However, there are very few quiet people here! The pool is disgusting, the exercise room smells and the air is usually broken. If one complains you are told there is nothing they can do about it! I have lived in apartments for 20 years and must say this has been the worst of the worst! The only people who may enjoy it are people who like it loud and dirty! Oh, and don't expect your deposit back, even if you scrub your apartment and its in better shape than when you moved in. I think the secret is to leave it a mess so they must clean it for the new guy!

It sounds like you lived at a completely different place. The exercise room is fine. Very nice and well lit and doesn't smell at all. The pool area is nice too. You're just making stuff up.

I agree with "AGoodEgg." None of your complaints about the grounds are correct. Maybe you should go tour some of the other apartment complexes in Orlando and see what you have. The pool has always been fantastic, and you are kind of a moron for not requiring the address of your apartment before you moved in and asking for pictures. When I moved down from NY without ever having seen Orlando before Heather and the other office staff were completely helpful. They did anything for me that I had the initiative to ask for. In fact, I asked for pictures of my actual apartment and Holly went over with her digital camera and emailed them to me within the hour.

It is hard to know better when one is shown one apartment, and then after having given up the lease in the old apartment and showing up to the current one, to be told that, "sorry, we have to put you in another apartment", (on the day of arrival with your uhaul in tow and no where else to go!) Then, with nowhere else to go as you have already given up your old apartment, you walk into the current one and there is no A/C, and the place is filthy; no carpet cleaning, no fresh paint, chewed up min iblinds (from someones pet that took years to be replaced), missing slots from the blinds in the living room, and dust bunnies hanging from the vents. Believe me when I say that I have now done my research, (which I had thought I had done on this place!) and have found many much nicer places! Just waiting for the lease to run out! I am not a moron, I am a very educated person holding a Master's in nursing. I was just too trusting! I am sorry if you think this is a nice place! It says much for your character!
