I lived there happily for two years but then began to be driven nuts by delusional, no-life elderly people who should be in a home somewhere if they can't mind their own business. They noted my comings and goings like they were on the trail of Mata Hari. They complained about my pet, which was no noisier or more visible than theirs. They gossiped about me to the staff. It was insane. I know there are crazy people everywhere, but I blame the staff for not telling them to mind their own business. I agree with the previous poster that the maintenance and safety staff are scary.

I lived in Winter Park for 20 years and the only time I came into contact with a conman coming to the door, or had something stolen out of my car, was at Carlton Arms.

And BTW -- if you think this complex doesn't violate the law by screening for race, think again.
