I love living here. The rates are killer for Winter Park - I can't find anything remotely similar to my unit for the same price within the same distance of my job. Sure, there are plenty of little old ladies around here, and it's always wise to get everything in writing, but those cons are far outweighed by the pros. Maintenance is very prompt and thorough; when major renovations had to be done on my apartment, they cleaned up every day after themselves and even left me a thank-you note with a restaurant gift card when the job was complete. While I get annoyed at the security guard chasing me down and warning me about driving too fast through the neighborhood, I do appreciate the vigilance because I know I'm safe living alone in my apartment. My only complaint is not having washer/dryer hookups in the units, but honestly, that's relatively minor considering other places I've lived that DO have them.
