i moved across half the country towards the south, right from the start when I pulled in, it was not good. I secured a Bottom floor apartment and showed up...got top floor, which meant I got stuck to pay more $ for vaulted ceilings. The apartment was nice, though, being my first apartment. Had a roommate that had drug problem, and no lie...went to the management about the situation more than TWENTY times stating that i have no tie in the drug issue and i wanted to evict that party, due to my name also being on the lease, and if anything happened, i wanted to be able to cover my own butt. Also, too much stress to deal with, being full time student...couldnt stay focused on what i needed to because of someone elses stupidity. Nothing was done about it, until one day, i had the "proof" that could make it happen...but not smoothly at all, thanks to the management. what a joke'! told me that i had to be evicted to, even though i had my name cleared! After a huge miracle from God, I got rid of the roommate...during the time with my roommate, though, our air condition was out for literally two months, and kept asking for the fix. Two times it was came to be looked at (after waiting a good long week) and just rigged...told them, hey! i need a whole new unit! may i mention-this was in june and july...HOT!! Then, needing to move...my lease is up at end of month and management threatens me to be responsible for the whole month after my lease is up when i wont even be here'! make sense' no. Definately have been screwed. Too much to mention. Also, management lady puts on a huge act of being nice-but she's two faced...also talks about other tenants situations and talks bad behind their backs. Very unprofessional and most of all, RUDE! Says hurtful things that didnt need to be mentioned and takes advantage of young college kids out on their own for the first time in this place we live, the Real World...This place is nice, but not nice enough to deal with all the load of crap and hell that comes along with it. if going to full sail, i advise not to live here. too much to worry about with school...this place is too stressful...also hear drums and piano at hours of the night that not need to be.--ah..and fireworks (not in july)oh one more thing-EVERYONE SMOKES POT...I can't even go out on my porch 80% of the time to enjoy fresh air or the stars...adults, college kids...everyone. I'm DISGUSTED!

I know the feeling, it sounds like much has not changed since 2000 when I lived there. It was horrible. Trying to get things fixed was near impossible, the manager was, like you said, two faced and the tenants were awful. The only upside was that the kitchen was huge. And that was the only thing I liked about that horrible excuse for an apartment.

I also lived here in 2003 with a roommate who was a drug addict and i had the same problem, i had went out of twon for a weekend came back and all my ---- was gone! The management was the same exact way when i lived there also, i moved back home after 6 months because my stuff had been stolen, my roommate sold it for drugs!
