There are so many things wrong about this place- I don't even know where to start. Fire Hazards everywhere. They paint over the caulking instead of replacing it. Water tank is tiny. Lumps under the carpet- like they didn't clean the floor underneath before placement. There was paint all over the place- floor in kitchen, bathroom sink, bathtub, floor in bathroom. The walls around the cooling/ heating unit are weak as if rotten. They don't keep the main foyers clean, and they smell BAD. We have to block the smell from coming through into our apartment. Overall it is a disgusting place. They will show you a nice apartment when you come to see them, but don't be fooled. All the others are crap. ASK to see the one you will be moving to before you sign anything. If they say that there is someone in it at that time- just say you would like to see it when those people are out of it. I give this place a 0 STAR. It really needs to be torn down. Tear it DOWN!

Agreed. I lived there for two years some time ago and ended up moving out after getting the county building supervisor on them for numerous health and safety violations. They take blatant advantage of people with poor credit and/or low income and they should be shut down. Stay away unless it's your only resort to have a roof over your head. Then don't be surprised if there are holes in that roof. . .

I am currently going through a issue with La Aloma apts. My apt flooded they don't want to let me out of my lease (is only 1 more month) nor will they pro-rate the rent, even though i haven't stayed tehre in 6 days. Unfortuantely i can't do anything by law, the law states i can only break my lease or be pro rated if its more than 7 days. anyway, I saw that you posted Mark Sarma was the owner, the apt managers won't give me any contact info, do you possibly have any contact info so i can speak to Mark Sarma or anyone above the apt managers? This would be very helpful. P.S. La Aloma is definitely one of the worst apts I have ever lived in.
