It's the neighborhood/ city that's the real problem

Well, while the apartment itself isn't bad, the people living in it are seriously going downhill. The rent has skyrocketed this past year as many complexes nearby have converted to condos so there aren't as many rentals. Instead of the higher rent bringing in more professionals and decent residents, it has instead brought the college students packing in 5-6 people into a 2 BR unit or 2 lower-income families and all of their children sharing an apartment that was meant for 1 family. While this has the Winter Park address, don't be fooled, it's much more "Orlando." Oh yeah, and there are major bug problems- many that even the exterminator coming on a regular basis can't fix- understandably, this IS Florida, land of year-round insects, but when even the cleanest person can't keep them from swarming in the unit, that's a problem. Besides that, the staff is very friendly and coordinate many nice events for residents and their children throughout the year.
