I am a student at Full Sail here in Orlando, so my main concern when apartment hunting was the price. The regular rent is $595, but they offered me $535 for being a student. I think I made a good choice. The aparments are a little older than some of the others in the area, however, they are HUGE compared to them. There is a full kitchen, not a tiny one in your living room like some other complexes. The shingles on the roofs have all been completely redone (which was a little loud at 7am, but its done now) and the parking lot is being re-paved today. Even though its older, they are doing their best to take care of it.
There are three pools, although one of them doesnt have any water in it. The laundry rooms are a little dirty, but they're always available and working. The office staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. One night my A/C stopped working at 11pm, and the guy was here to fix it at 11:15. I read the other reviews about the air conditioning, and mine works fine. It is true that the bathroom doesnt get vented, but there is a big window in it, so its all good. My only problem is a leaky faucet, but I dont pay for water, so I dont really care. The lower units have their own fenced in patio, and the upper units share a balcony with their neighbors. The upper units also have slanted walls, which is kinda cool. I live upstairs, and My biggest problem is my neighbours being a little unthoughfully loud at times, especially out on their patios, if you are upstairs you can hear everything through your bedroom windows when your underneith neighbors are outside. Luckily, the walls and floors are concrete, so you rarely hear anything through them.
Overall, I would definately recommend this place to any student, or person who is looking for quality, for cheaper than some rip-off apartments around here.
