I don't even know where to begin, this place was so bad. Unfortunately at the time I needed a place fast and this was in my price range; had I known how bad it was I definitely would have gone somewhere else. The apartment was dirty when we moved in, there were paint splatters and spots all over the kitchen floor, bathroom floor, and areas of the carpet. The insides of the cabinets were disgusting. By the way, these apartments are about 30 yrs. old and the cabinets and appliances must be the originals.
One of the main problems we had was our AC. It kept leaking into the hallway and the carpet there was constantly SOAKED, not damp but squishy-wet. We had to keep a towel over it all the time. They always took forever to come out to fix it when we called, and then never fixed it right. It was still like that when we left.
Another major issue was the water temperature. We hardly got any hot water at all. Once you got in the shower you had about 30 secs of hot then it would go to cold, then alternate back and forth, finally going totally to cold after about 3 mins. This went on for the whole year we were there, and of course they never fixed it.
Here is the best part. We came home one day and there was an EVICTION NOTICE on our door. We weren't late with the rent, they just had a "computer error". The notice gave us 3 days to get out. They weren't apologetic at all, even though we were very upset. This happened a total of 3 times. The last time, a few weeks before we were going to move out, the response we got from management was "Don't worry about it, you're moving out anyway, what do you care'" Unbelieveable. There were many other things, such as our car getting broken into and things stolen out of it, our next door neighbor's apartment got broken into, the place is over-run with thugs and thug jrs., dead squirrels floating in the pool, I could go on but I would be here all night. The only small consolation we have is they were too stupid to ever give us a water bill the whole year we were there, even after we asked for one. What a bunch of idiots. The bottom line is, do not move here unless you are a glutton for punishment. You have been warned.
