My fiance and I moved here recently, and we have had very few problems. Yes, there are roaches... Well, palmetto bugs... But you'll have that in any apartment, or even house, in Florida. Buy a $6 can of Bengal Roach Spray, and you'll have no more bugs. Management has been nothing but nice to us, and so has maintenance. We had a shower leak that was fixed within a day or two of putting in the request. The neighbors mostly keep to themselves, and we've really had no problems. Our refridgerator and dishwasher are brand new, and the stove is in perfect working condition. The A/C runs fine, and the apartment was immaculate when we moved in. The grounds are clean and well kept, and we feel safe here. I've lived in many apartments, and this is by far the best. For our first apartment on our own, it's been a really good experience. It's located close to school and work, and is affordable. I come home at all hours from work, usually 11 at night or after, and I've never seen any "ghetto" activity. There are kids who hang around, but they're usually just sitting on the sidewalk talking. The stereos can be loud at times, but it's really not a problem. So all in all, Signal Pointe is a really nice place to live.
