A lovely place to live if you've suffered a lobotomy

I lived in Sun Key Apts. 2002-2003. I had the misfortune to live under the General Manager of the apartment complex. Within my first month there, i had recieved not one, but two noise complaints while neither my roomate nor myself were even home. To top it off, i would get woken up at all hours of the morning to the general manager's extremely obese and ill-tempered fiance stomping on the floor because of all the..noise...i made..in my sleep..Things only got worse. When my roomate and I signed the lease, we were given the option to draw a possible free gift from a basket. We drew a $100 credit to our first months rent. Upon the completion of the first month, we recieved a letter on our door saying we owed them $100 for the first month. That was our first sign of the level of competence we were dealing with. The problems continued, of course. On two other occasions, the rent check i personally handed them somehow slipped through their massive managerial cracks, and eviction was attempted on both occasions. Not only that, but i had to then spend many hours disputing the $250 lawyer fees they incurred without notice or consent, which is illegal and was never stated in the lease. Aside from the abhorent display of professionalism, we had rocks thrown at our window in the middle of the night, the parking lot was a joke, and of course...those security gates we paid extra for closed 1 time in the year i lived there. In closing, If you've had the frontal lobe of your brain pierced with an ice pick, Sun Key is heaven, so strap on your diapers and go get yourself a great apartment.
