At first Sunkey seemed like a nice apartment complex. They really draw you in with how friendly they are. Then the reality hits when you meet the incompetent office staff and maintenance people. We had lots of problems with our apartment from a squirrel chewing through our ceiling, to leaks, broken AC and theft. The neighborhood looks decent at first glance, but we had two bicycles stolen, a cd player and one night someone even took my license plate off my car! The neighbors were rowdy at times and all the young first timers on their own really made it difficult to sleep with their loud music and parties. All of these are just sorta facts of life, annoying and dishonest people are everywhere, but the fact that our rent increased every year really ticked me off! They never made improvements on the apartments, the pool was closed alot, the gym was old and stinky, the hot tubs rarely worked and the gate was never closed and then was removed! Search on for an apartment, these guys are a lot of hassle.
