I have lived in Sun Key for about 2 years. It was once a GREAT place to live, but no more!
While the new painting and upgrades certainly have made the place look pretty, its seems that the quality of the security is SORELY lacking. There have been many parties that go late into the night in direct violation of the noise policy. I understand that it is largely inhabited by students, but there should be a limit! Like around 1AM.
In addition, my wife and I just dont feel safe there. I have been personally witness to at least one case of GUNFIRE at the apartment and my wife witness to another incident in which a DRUG BUST took place right outside our window! This certainly doesnt fit with the "Winter Park" atmosphere!
Staff are friendly, but change constantly. If Picerne can get its act together and tighten security before somone gets really hurt and they get sued it could be a great place again. You should get ALOT more for you 800 dollars a month.

I can attest to the gunfire and the drug bust. I wrote a review which also mentions yet another incident of violence.
