I was attendind Full Sail and had a room mate. At the end of our lease I signed on for another couple of months. I had it in writing. Thank God. I went home for about 4-5 days and when I returned I almost passed out when I entered my apartment. My first thought was that I had been robbed, but after further inspection it looked like someone had been packing my stuff up. All that was left was a few garbage bags of clothes and misc stuff. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GONE. DO YOU HEAR ME..GONE!!. Couch, chair, bed, clothes, VCR, video games, DVD's
everything. When I talked to management they tried to say that I had abandoned the apartment after my lease had expired, and they were cleaning it out to rent it. Yah, right. What normal person would abandon everything they owned' They claimed that they had thrown all my stuff away. What normal person would throw away a good couch an almost brand new bed, VCR, stereo, DVD's, video games etc' Like I said, thank goodness I had a signed copy of my lease extension. It took many phone calls and threats, but finally they acknowledged their mistake and wrote my a hefty check. I have a lot of friends that live/lived there and just as many horror stories. Think twice before moving here, and get everything in writing and keep a copy for yourself.

I would not believe your story at all... but since I do live there right now- I am not surprised at all. RULE NUMBER #1 WHEN LIVING AT SUNKEY!! KEEP RECEIPTS WITH THEIR SIGNITURE IN BLOOD! They mess-up a lot
