My roommate moved into Sun Key because at the time they were offering free rent for two months, that alone should of been a warning sign. I hate Sun Key. I dont have very good things to say about them. I've lived here for six months and it took them five to finally get in touch with me about my credit check. I moved in March 2009, then day before I moved my future roommate called and told me the air was broken. Ok, no air in florida in March. I figured I could handle it. We called maintenance, and they fixed it same day. I was not aware of this but they're suppose to leave a note when they're in your apartment alone, never have either of us came home to find a note. A month goes by and the air breaks again, we call and they come out, again. The following month and the same thing happens again.
This went on for six months. Until finally we lose half of our power (air included). My roommate and I spent a full 24 hours with no air, in beginning of August in Florida. It was miserable. We called our electric company and they were out within hours to fix it. They called back and said it wasn't their fault and to contact Sun Key. So we called Sun Key at 8:30 at night and left a message saying that we didn't no air. My roommate didn't hear back from them until 2:00 in the afternoon! Also, our bedrooms didn't have power so our ceiling fans wouldn't work. Maintenance was at our apartment four times that day, every single time they sent a new guy who knew even less than the first guy did.
Also, the guy below us would make our floorboards shake because his bass would be so loud. We could stand in my roommates bathroom and hear whatever he was watching like we were in his apartment. And the guy above us has a drumset. One night the guy below was watching a movie and the guy above was playing his drums, the only place that was quiet was outside. Which by the way, if I'm paying close to 12 grand a month why don't I have a balcony'
On a Full Sail budget this apartment is not worth it. Save yourself some living expense money, and go about 10 miles away from campus. You'll find the same sq feet for a fraction of the cost.

Yeah, pretty impressive considering that rent during the period he claims to have lived here was only $700-$800 a month for a 2-2. And what's with people blaming Sun Key for their fellow fullsailer's inability to follow noise ordinances? If someone's that loud put in a complaint, if it doesnt get anywhere (there's only so much the office can do) call the freakin cops. There's THREE living in the complex for the love of game.
