Visited Sutton Place this weekend and discovered just how "Student Friendly" they are.

My boyfriend and myself are not children, we are in our mid 20's and both have had sucessful careers prior to moving to Winter Park to attend Full Sail to further our educations and career potentials. We are not living on the support of our parents and have not needed financial assistance from them for many years. That being said Sutton Place still required us to obtain a co-signer even though we had financial documentation there demonstrating that we were more than able to pay them their rent for the entire lease duration if they had wanted.

The Asst. Manager and some female assistance type person both remained un-sympathetic and un-compromising as well as semi-rude and condensending to us both the entire --2--hours they tied us up there running back and forth to about 5 other people besides us at the time.

Not only would they not contact the full manager to discuss this matter with us, they informed us that "this is how its done around here and you two better accept that".

Now as I said, we are not children and having someone that is obviously at least 5 years my junior speak to me in such a manner is unacceptable.

We left and found an apartment right up the street from them with 200 more sq, a view of a lake, vaulted ceilings, and a LOT LESS HASSLE.

So do yourself a huge favor and skip over Sutton Place. They will treat you like children there and are about as flexable as a steel rod.
