when we first moved in, Sutton place was no more than your everyday average place to live. About two months ago, a new manager was hired, and since then, this place has really flourished. Within the first week of new management workers began retiling the pools, re-sanding the volleyball court, rePAVING the whole lot, completely rennovating the apartments and upgrading each unit; they've landscaped the plants and added all new bushes and flowers, and last week they received all-new gym workout machines, which is super awesome. They even have little lcd tvs on the treadmills and bikes! Management has always been understanding and very friendly (our power went out due to a problem with the power company and they let us stay in another apartment for those days without charging us anything!), and the residents seem like decent people. Very clean and well-kept units as well. EXCELLENT place for any students, families, or the recently retired!

They just got a new manager, and she is one of the rudest meanest unprofessional business woman I have ever met... she is firing people just because they agree with the above statement... she is ridiculous... not to mention this place is truley a dump!!! they make it look nice but they hide stuff... MOLD problem? fresh paints the answer! RUST problem? fresh paints the answer! There are cats all over the place! you cant walk anywhere because they dont enforce dog poop policy! SERCURITY IS THERE BIGGEST FLAW!!! the place next to this is called "Murder WALK" this place is starting to get as bad! there seems to always be cops here, there was 2 rapes... there always robberys going on... the GATE DOES NOT WORK AT ALL!!! NEVER HAS IT EVER WORKED DONT LET THEM TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE "FIXING" IT its a bunch of bullsh*t there are no cameras... thats a complete lie!!! there is no security here either they tell you its 24 hours patrolled but thats also a total lie... its a rent a cop service with one patrol man for 10 complexes... he takes at least an hour if you ever need him for anything!!! This is my first apartment place i have lived in and i will never live in an apartment place again because of the ---- i have had to deal with!... OH YEAH... WATCH OUT FOR THE "GOOD" REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE... ITS THE OFFICE STAFF..."jill" writing her own reviews! I can prove it! none of the stuff listed above happened before this review was written... in fact as of today there are still no "little lcd tvs on the treadmills and bikes" interesting!

I was just there taking a tour yesterday because im attending full sail this fall, and yes there were "little lcd tvs" in the gym so put that one to bed. The woman at the front seemed very friendly and helpful also.

I wrote a whole big thing on this post. I'll have to go with a short cut. Me and my husband wrote this review. Our names, well I'd rather not give it out just because they would prob. kick us out like they did all of their good workers. We don't agree with this at all anymore. We thought that fixing it up would be the start of something really good, but it turns out it was the start of HELL. We hate it here. We've been robbed, he had his bike stolen, there was a murder in the building over, everyone is RUDE! Jill is SUPER RUDE! My friend has had a broken A/C for over a year! They wont fix it! Our dishwasher has been broken for 3 months! they wont fix it! We pay over $1200 a month for 2/2. Not worth it, they charge $50 more for an upgrade. So much dog poo everywhere me and my son can't play outside anymore! Maybe we could try the dog park, I'm sure that's the cleanest place to go! New Sutton Place isnt worth it. We have to stay here for a few more months, untill our lease is up, they charge a shi@ load if you move out before your lease is up. When my hubby wents done FUll Sail, we are out! Don't believe any of the good reviews. They just want your money! We hate it here! Roaches everywhere! I'm a VERY SUPER clean person too! Cracks in the doors and screen. Mold in the closets. Mold in shower. Cheap EVERYTHING! Stove seems like its from the 1980's! Microwave dosent really work! Rugs are cheap as well! I can never take my son to the pool because there is always broken beer bottles everywhere. When our bedroom window is open, sprinklers make everything all WET! They ALWAYS have them on!! It makes huge puddles and gets everyone and everything wet. They waste so much water! The people in the office are so bad that on some days I would rater stay with my father-in-law! He's an a$$!Don't live here.
