I've lived here a year now and my wife lived here for a couple of years prior to me moving in. It has its ups and downs like any apartment complex especially at its price range.

The grounds are pretty well kept and they have done a great job fixing up the pool area. The apartments themselves have some good layouts. We live in an older model and it is starting to show now but the refurbished ones look nice.

Management has been pretty good to us. They got me set up on the lease with no problems and are always nice when we pick up a delivery from UPS.

Maintenance gets stuff done, not always same day but its gotten done. Luckily we have never had anything too major so it has worked out fine for us.

There are some drawbacks to living here. The gate never really works too well and people tailgate like hell. Personally I think gated communities in general are nothing more than a false sense of security. I just don't like to know that somewhere in my rent is a little extra for a gate that doesn't ever work.

There are plenty of Full Sail kids here. Nothing too shocking. I think some people look at the Full Sail crowd and label them as all sorts of crazy things. They party every now and then and walk in and out of the complex at all hours. It's by a college so it's just what you have to expect. If you look in the UCF area you will find a lot of the same.

Laundry rooms were not that great in my stay here but they are getting redone so maybe that will be better.

I think rent is a little high for what you are getting, and my wife and I have seen how quickly it has gone up in a short period.

I've seen a lot of reviews listing rape, murder and drugs... All I can say is read these reviews with a grain of salt. There was a guy who ran up naked to a couple of girls, was inappropriate and ran off... Doesn't sound good but its not as bad as a few reviews have listed and frankly I've seen crazier ---- downtown. The management did send out a letter to residents about the incident.

Overall it's fine, could be better but there are far worse. It's apartment living so it's all kind of up to who you are stuck living next to. Hopefully it works out, if not just come here and write a review about crack smoking illegal immigrants performing unlicensed abortions in broad daylight.

Gossip is funny. Terms like stab key or murder walk are for people who have been living in a different world, coddled in the parents house in suburbia for too long. This isn't Paramore, it's some college apartments in Winter Park...

I have lived here since 2004 and I am a female and lived alone for a while. This complex has been completely safe and never once did I face or fear getting raped or murdered. I'm tired of the silly nicknames and outrageous rumors about alleged felonies. Show me the police reports and then I'll believe you. Honestly, there aren't even any registered sex offenders in the complex. You can look it up.

I have lived in the area all my life and its not so bad... When i was in high school years ago there was a raping near the complex close to what now is a target plaza (before it was a winn dixie & a video store)...a girl was walking threw some tall un cut bushes (using that as a short cut) and got raped on her way to the bus stop... but this was before the area got cleaned up.
