Closest Apartment Complex to Full Sail

I have lived here for about a year and a half. It's not the worst apartment complex I've lived in, but it sure isn't the best either.
This being the closest apartment to Full Sail (www.fullsail.com) the population of the place is probably 75% students. Most students finish their degrees in a year and a half so there is a pretty high turn over.
One of my main complaints with the apartment is they don't match their leases with the students needs. Your options are 7 month or 14 month leases...THERE IS NO MONTH TO MONTH OPTIONS! And taking a 7 month lease instead of a 14 month lease is going to cost you $30 or more a month.
Luckily there are always new Full Sail Students wanting to move in, so I'm not sure how difficult it is to get someone to take over your lease. If you are going to Full Sail I *think* they will help you work with new students looking for places to live.
As far as parking goes...it depends on who your neighbors are. There aren't any assigned spots or stickers or anything. So if your neighbors all have cars and/or like to have parties at their place the parking can get tight. However that usually means you just have to park at the next building (not very far). It can just be annoying if you go grocery shopping or it's pouring down rain.
The noise level is also dependent on your neighbors. There was a rock band practicing in the next building over (same court yard) for about a month once but either they moved or management got them to shut up. Currently there is a trumpet player nearby but he actually sounds good so I don't mind him as much :P
Apartment staff is always friendly. The new maintenance guy is very nice and helpful and a bit more proactive about tackling problems before they happen than the previous guy.
Construction wise, most of the apartment buildings have new roofs following the damage from the '04 hurricanes. Interiors are extremely basic and my kitchen counter is PAINTED white. After living here for 18 months that white paint is mostly gone. So my kitchen always looks grungy even right after I clean it.
As far as safety goes...I haven't seen anything criminal going on, although the complex is off of a very large street/highway so you do see less than desirables walking near the street. The hubcaps were stolen off my car within a month of me moving here and the cheapo ($15) replacements I bought were gone in about the same time. So I'm not going to buy any more until I move from here.
Soo..overall if you are a student at Full Sail then I recommend the place mostly because it's close and the traffic around here is nuts so you really don't want to have to drive to school if you can avoid it.
Just stick your hubcaps in your trunk for the duration of your stay!
